Protective measures for turbine oil system

Most of the lubricating oil and high-pressure and low-pressure oil pipelines of the steam turbine are arranged near the high-temperature pipeline and the hot body. Once the oil pipeline leaks, the pressure oil will be sprayed on the high-temperature pipeline and the hot body, which will cause a fire, and the fire will develop rapidly. Therefore, the key to prevent the ignition of turbine oil system is to prevent the leakage of oil pipeline. The main measures are as follows: first, try to reduce the use of flange and lock nut joint connection, and it is recommended to use welding connection to reduce fire hazards. In order to facilitate installation and maintenance, the pipelines of steam turbine oil system are generally connected by flanges and lock nuts. This connection method is very easy to cause oil leakage. The leaked oil splashes or penetrates into the thermal pipeline or other hot bodies, which will cause fire accidents in the oil system. Second, it is forbidden to use plastic pads, rubber pads (including oil resistant rubber pads) and asbestos paper pads for the flange of the oil system, so as to prevent the aging of the pads or the rapid melting and failure of the plastic pads and rubber pads in case of fire nearby, resulting in a large amount of oil leakage. For the gasket of oil system flange, it is required to use electrical insulation paper, green shell paper or other oil-resistant and heat-resistant gasket with a thickness of less than 1.5mm to reduce the joint surface gap. The lock nut joint must have a locking device and adopt soft metal washers, such as red copper pads. Third, shockproof and anti-wear measures should be taken for small-diameter pressure oil pipes and meter pipes, and the strength of weak parts (which can be roughly divided into two types of connecting parts with pendulum tensile testing machine and electronic tensile testing machine at the initial stage of connecting with the box) should be increased (for example, thick walled pipes should be used locally), so as to prevent high-pressure oil from spraying and catching fire due to vibration fatigue or wear and fracture. Fourth, the pressure bearing grade of accessories such as pipeline interceptors, joints and flanges of the oil system should be selected according to the pressure of the pressure test. Cast iron valves are forbidden to be used in the oil system to prevent the valve from bursting, oil leakage and fire. In addition, the oil pipeline material and welding quality should also be regularly inspected and supervised to prevent defects caused by long-term use, fracture and oil leakage during operation

3. Open fire is not allowed near oil pipeline flanges, valves and parts that may leak oil. Effective measures must be taken when open fire operation is necessary. The insulation of nearby thermal pipelines or other thermal bodies should be fastened and complete, and the iron sheet should be wrapped

when open fire work must be carried out near the oil system pipes, flanges, valves and parts that may leak oil, the hot work ticket system must be strictly implemented. D. control system: adopt external control methods to make the control more accurate, with a speed control range of 5~250 mm/min, and take effective fire prevention measures. Start work only after sufficient fire-fighting equipment is prepared to prevent the leaked oil from catching fire when encountering open fire, Or the steam evaporated by the leaked oil will burn and explode in the presence of open fire after mixing with air

4. It is forbidden to weld on the oil pipe. When welding on the removed oil pipe, the pipe must be washed clean in advance

5. Oil pipeline flanges, valves and bearings, speed regulation system, etc. should be kept tight without oil leakage. If there is oil leakage, it should be eliminated in time. It is strictly forbidden for oil leakage to penetrate into the lower steam pipe and valve insulation layer

6. If thermal pipes or other thermal bodies are laid around and below oil pipeline flanges and valves, the thermal insulation of these thermal bodies must be complete, and the thermal insulation should be wrapped with iron sheet

7. If oil leakage is found in the insulation material during maintenance, the oil leakage point shall be eliminated and the insulation material shall be replaced

8. The emergency oil drain valve shall be equipped with two steel stop valves, and its operating hand wheel shall be set at a place 5m away from the oil tank, with more than two channels. The operating hand wheel is not allowed to be locked, and an obvious no operation sign shall be hung

9. The oil pipeline shall ensure the free expansion of the unit under various operating conditions. The pipeline of the oil system shall be provided with necessary supports and hangers, and there shall be no broken places, so as to ensure the smooth expansion of the oil pipeline under various working conditions. The arrangement of the oil pipeline should be reasonable, but it is convenient for the staff to inspect, maintain and isolate from the heating pipeline or other hot bodies. The surface pipes of the oil system shall be arranged neatly to minimize crossing, so as to prevent wear due to vibration during operation

10. If the equipment and pipeline of the unit oil system are damaged and oil leakage occurs, those that cannot be isolated from the system or the heating pipeline has penetrated oil should be shut down immediately for treatment. (
